‘My daughter calls me Hey Peddi’: Ram Charan shares emotional family moment

Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ team gathered in Hyderabad for a grand success meet on the last day and the evening was marked by speeches, celebrations, attended by the cast and crew of the sports drama.Director Buchi Babu Sana, music composer A. R. Rahman, and several members of the technical team attended the event. Veteran actor Chiranjeevi graced the occasion as chief guest.

Ram Charan on audience response

As reported by Cinema Express, speaking at the event, Ram Charan expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response received by the film.He said, “Some successes make you think, but ‘Peddi’ gave me a kind of love and affection that no other film has given me. This success feels very different, and I would like to thank the audience for giving such a wonderful response,”

Daughter Klin Kaara’s adorable reaction

Ram Charan also shared a personal and light-hearted moment involving his daughter, Klin Kaara. He said, “From kids to elders, everyone came to watch the film. They made this success even more special by calling me Peddi instead of Ram Charan. My daughter Klin Kaara used to call me Nanna, but after Peddi, she started calling me ‘Hey Peddi’. I told her that she cannot call her father like that, and then she started saying ‘Peddi Nanna’,”Ram Charan also took time to acknowledge the contributions of director Buchi Babu Sana and music composer A. R. Rahman. He credited Buchi Babu for shaping the project and helping bring the story to life.He said, “I should thank Sukumar garu for introducing Buchi Babu to me. Whenever I have any doubts that I cannot discuss with my father, I call Sukumar garu to clear them. He is like a lecturer who guides many students, and he also took me as his student and gave me valuable guidance,”Appreciating A. R. Rahman’s contribution, he said, “He gave fantastic music, especially in the second half. His music brought great energy to the film and helped take it closer to the audience. Hats off to Rahman garu. Peddi means a lot to us, and wherever you are, we love you. The dedication and work you have shown are truly amazing,”

Audience love defines ‘Peddi’ success

Ram Charan also opened up on how audience support shaped the film’s success. He said, “I remember a dialogue from the Tagore movie. Telugu people don’t like anyone that easily, but once they do, they love them till death. Much like that, no matter who said what and no matter what reviews were written, this film is truly not ours; it belongs to the audience.”

Box office update for ‘Peddi’

‘Peddi’ continues its steady run even after completing three weeks in theatres.Latest estimates from Sacnilk suggest that the film collected around Rs 70 lakh in India net on Day 21, slightly lower than the previous day’s Rs 80 lakh. The worldwide gross is now approaching the Rs 333 crore milestone. Go to Source
