Olivia Wilde recalls the moment she realized that she and Jason Sudeikis’ relationship was no longer working.

Recently, Olivia Wilde has gotten candid about her personal life and past relationships. The actress, in a recent interview, opened up about her relationship with Jason Sudeikis, specifically about the moment she became aware that they could no longer work out.

While in a recent conversation on the ‘Call Me Daddy’ podcast, the ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ actress opened up about her past relationships. The star revealed that there was a specific moment when she realised that her relationship with the ‘We’re the Millers’ actor was over.She shared that specifically, on March 10, 2020, the two actors had been going through a lot of issues in their partnership. During a car ride home, the two had a short conversation that made her realise that their relationship is not going anywhere. She stated, “We were driving home from my birthday party, my friends had had. And I said, ‘Did you get me a birthday present?’ And he said, ‘What would I get you, Olivia? I don’t know you’. And he wasn’t wrong. We didn’t know each other anymore.”She further added, “And this is the thing that made me wanna make [‘The Invite’] because, or one of the things, because you can get to a place in a relationship where you stop engaging in the knowing of each other in the curiosity about each other.” The two of them had a conversation and decided that their relationship had run its course. However, she commented that two days after they came to the harrowing conclusion, the COVID-19 lockdown happened all across the world, and everyone was stuck at home.

During the same podcast, Wilde also added that while they are no longer together, they are on good terms and actively co-parent their two children, Daisy and Otis.Elaborating on the same subject, Olivia said, “Once you are sharing custody with someone, it shifts the way you think about parenting,” Wilde said, calling Sudeikis a “very capable co-parent.” She also shared that while it is tough, their setup ensures that their kids get to experience the best versions of themselves. She added, “You have to find the balance. But I actually find this kind of divvying up of responsibility in a way can allow for really amazing parenting. Because we are always our best with our kids. They get the best of us.”Wilde and Sudeikis were together starting in 2011 after they met at an after-party for ‘Saturday Night Live’.
