The rumours apparently took off after Krushna Abhishek, who is part of the ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ cast, was caught on camera by paparazzi on the sets of Laughter Chefs. When quizzed about the reports of Salman featuring in the film, Krushna’s response was cryptic enough to set the internet on fire, with many interpreting it as a hint towards a surprise element in the movie. The actor is currently occupied with director Vamshi Paidipally’s action entertainer and is expected to kick off his collaboration with Raj and DK by October 2026. Adding to his busy lineup, reports suggest that Salman is also in discussions with Farhan Akhtar for an ambitious large-scale period drama, which is said to be backed by Farhan and Ritesh Sidhwani’s production banner Excel Entertainment and could go on floors as early as summer 2027.
