Seema Sajdeh reacts to getting back with Sohail Khan after divorce

Seema Sajdeh reacts to getting back with Sohail Khan after divorce: 'He is the father of my children, we will always be a family'

Reality star and entrepreneur Seema Sajdeh has finally reacted to the buzz surrounding her recent appearance with former husband Sohail Khan at a wedding in Pune. The sighting sparked speculation on social media, with many wondering if the former couple was considering getting back together.Speaking to Filmibeat, Seema dismissed the assumptions and explained that her relationship with Sohail is rooted in family, co-parenting and the bond they share through their children.

‘People assume divorced couples have to be enemies’

Seema revealed that she was unaware of the online frenzy until a friend informed her that the pictures had gone viral.Reflecting on the public reaction, she said, “People tend to glorify things sometimes. But now the generation is different. They look at it like, ‘Isn’t this the coolest thing ever?'”While some social media users appreciated the cordial relationship between the former couple, others interpreted their appearance together as a sign of reconciliation.Addressing the speculation, Seema said, “I can’t understand people when they see Sohail and me together. I was married to the man for over 20 years. I share two children with him. He is the father of my children and we are always going to be a family. That is the reality of my life.”She added that many people wrongly assume that divorce automatically leads to hostility.”People just assume that when you get a divorce, you have to be enemies. No. Divorce isn’t pretty. Everybody goes through their phases. There is anger, there are stages of grief, but eventually everybody finds their rhythm.”

‘Sohail and I are co-parenting beautifully’

Seema stressed that her equation with Sohail remains healthy because both of them prioritise their sons, Nirvaan and Yohan.”Honestly, Sohail and I are absolutely fine. We are co-parenting beautifully. We love our boys,” she said. The designer emphasised that their parental responsibilities ensure they will always remain connected.”We are forever going to be there for Nirvaan and Yohan. That’s their father and I am their mother. I was married into that family for over 20 years, nearly 25 years. That will always be my family.”

‘You can’t cut off a relationship like that’

Seema also spoke about her continued bond with the Khan family, saying it is unrealistic to expect someone to completely erase decades of relationships after a divorce.”By virtue of my children, they will always be my family. Whether people want to see it however they want to look into it. You can’t just say, ‘My divorce happened, so I forgot this person and I forgot that person.’ It doesn’t work like that.”She further added, “You can’t cut off a relationship like that. It doesn’t happen like that.”While Seema did not directly address whether a reconciliation is on the cards, her comments made it clear that the warmth between her and Sohail stems from mutual respect, shared history and their commitment to raising their children together.
