Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Friday announced the pricing of the top-spec E3 variant of its all-electric Toyota Urban Cruiser Ebella at ₹23.6 lakh (ex-showroom).

The automaker has yet to announce the prices of the lower variants of its first battery-electric SUV in the Indian market.

The Urban Cruiser Ebella E3 is powered by a 61 kWh battery pack delivering 128 kW power and 189 Nm torque. The company said the electric SUV combines SUV styling, spacious interiors, connected technologies and advanced safety features.

The model adopts Toyota’s “Urban Tech” design philosophy, featuring a hammerhead-inspired front fascia, aerodynamic styling, LED lighting elements, dual-tone exterior options and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the SUV gets ventilated front seats, ambient lighting with 12 colour options, a panoramic roof, sliding and reclining rear seats, and a JBL premium audio system. The cabin also features a unified digital cockpit integrating a 10.25-inch combimeter and a 10.1-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

On the safety front, the Urban Cruiser Ebella comes equipped with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), seven airbags, a high-tensile body structure and a 360-degree camera.

Toyota said the vehicle will be offered with an 8-year battery warranty, assured buyback programmes, Battery-as-a-Service options and finance schemes aimed at improving EV ownership accessibility.

The automaker added that it has prepared over 500 BEV-enabled service touchpoints across the country with dedicated diagnostic tools and infrastructure support. More than 2,500 BEV-trained technicians are currently deployed across the network, supported by 45-minute express maintenance services.

The Urban Cruiser Ebella supports both AC and DC fast charging and includes connected charging functions, such as remote operation, scheduling, and battery monitoring, through Toyota’s i-Connect platform.

The electric SUV will be available in five monotone and four dual-tone colour options.
