Royal family rattled by Sarah Ferguson-Sean Combs claims

Rumours of Sarah Ferguson-Sean Combs' secret affair leave royal family 'horrified'

Fresh claims linking Sarah Ferguson to disgraced rapper Sean Diddy Combs have left the royal family reeling, with insiders now revealing the extent of the fallout behind palace doors. Senior royals, including King Charles and Queen Camilla, are said to be appalled by the latest wave of revelations surrounding the former Duchess of York, with Camilla reportedly furious at the renewed scandal.According to Closer, “The sheer volume of stories surfacing about Sarah’s former connections to controversial figures has left senior royals appalled. People were absolutely aghast when Diddy’s name was thrown into the mix. Even hearing Sarah’s name mentioned in the same breath as him has horrified the family.”

What are the new claims about Sarah Ferguson and Diddy

The allegations surfaced in a new book titled ‘Entitled’ by royal author Andrew Lownie, which claims that Diddy, 56, whose real name is Sean Combs, and Ferguson first met in 2002 at a party hosted by Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence. According to Lownie, the pair allegedly began a secret friendship with benefits two years later that continued for several years, with the two meeting in hotel rooms costing £50,000 a night. Lownie further claims that Diddy, described as “royal family-obsessed,” bragged about his relationship with Ferguson and allegedly made deeply inappropriate remarks about her daughters. It is also alleged that Ferguson introduced her daughters to him on multiple occasions. In May 2025, Diddy was tried for sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, and was found not guilty of all but two transportation charges. He was fined $500,000 and is currently serving a sentence of four years and two months.A representative for Diddy described Lownie’s claims as “utterly ridiculous gossip,” while a representative for Ferguson, 66, branded them “fabricated nonsense.”

How the royal family is reacting

Despite the denials, insiders say the damage to the royal family’s reputation has already been felt. “Diddy’s another big name linked to a high-profile sex scandal, and Sarah is, again, right there in the thick of it. It’s deeply embarrassing,” the report said. “Whether or not the affair claims are true almost became secondary once those headlines were out. Camilla’s furious. She genuinely thought that chapter of royal scandal was finally fading into the background.”Prince William is also said to be deeply unhappy with the situation. “He feels the royals are constantly being dragged into old scandals, instead of moving forward,” the report continued. “Kate finds the whole thing upsetting and exhausting and wants stability and calm around the monarchy. Charles is completely worn down by it. He’s spent years trying to steady the monarchy and these old associations, and rumours have come roaring back into public conversation again.”

The impact on Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie

The renewed attention has also taken a toll on Ferguson’s daughters, Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 36, who is currently expecting her third child. “The renewed attention has completely rattled them, particularly Princess Beatrice, who is exhausted from trying to steady both parents through an endless cycle of damaging headlines. She’s struggling badly,” the report revealed.”They adore their mother and want to protect her, but the sisters are constantly firefighting. Beatrice is carrying everybody emotionally, and it’s a huge burden. There’s also a real effort to shield Eugenie from stress in what should be a happy period in her life,” it added.

What comes next for Sarah Ferguson

Insiders say the wider royal family remains on edge about what further revelations may emerge. “There’s a panic that there may be more revelations linked to Fergie’s past social circle. Every time the Palace thinks things are calming down, something else happens,” it said.Ferguson, who was spotted in public for the first time in 211 days last month outside a luxury Alpine ski resort, is said to want a return to normality. However, those close to the situation say the royals are firmly against it. “Sarah hates feeling isolated and hidden away, but bringing her back into the public eye more regularly would be disastrous. She’s unpredictable, and that’s what scares the family the most,” the report concluded.Neither Ferguson nor the palace has issued any official statement in response to the latest claims. As the book hits shelves, the former Duchess of York’s past associations are under the microscope, and the story continues to unfold. Go to Source
