Thalapathy Vijay receives signed bat from Virat Kohli

Thalapathy Vijay receives signed bat from Virat Kohli; photos of Tamil Nadu CM with a special gift go viral

Vijay has once again become the talk of social media after receiving a special gift connected to cricket. The actor was recently presented with a cricket bat signed by Indian star cricketer Virat Kohli during a meeting with the MRF team in Chennai. Pictures of Vijay holding the bat signed by him soon became a rage online, gaining the attention of both film fans and cricket enthusiasts. From the pictures, it could be seen that Vijay was standing in an elegant posture, wearing a black suit with a white shirt and veshti around his neck.

MRF officials meet Vijay during Chennai visit

Several pictures from the meeting surfaced online, showing senior MRF officials interacting with Vijay. Among those present were MRF Chairman and Managing Director K.M. Mammen, Vice Chairman Arun Mammen, and Managing Director Rahul Mammen. During the interaction, the company representatives reportedly discussed MRF’s operations and future plans in Tamil Nadu. However, the Virat Kohli-signed bat became the biggest highlight of the meeting. Fans were elated to see the player with the bat and his wide grin, which immediately made the news go viral on social media.

Vijay’s passion for the game of cricket is known to many fans

It was also a great reminder of Vijay’s deep love for cricket. Over the years, Vijay has openly expressed his admiration for the Chennai-based IPL team and was even one of the brand ambassadors during the inaugural IPL season in 2008. The actor is also known to share a good bond with former CSK captain MS Dhoni. Because of this, the signed bat from Virat Kohli became even more meaningful for fans, who loved seeing two major worlds cinema and cricket come together in one frame.

‘Jana Nayagan’ remains Vijay’s most anticipated film

On the film front, Vijay will next be seen in ‘Jana Nayagan’ directed by H. Vinoth. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, and Mamitha Baiju in important roles. Though the film has faced delays due to certification issues and an online leak controversy earlier this year, fans continue to wait eagerly for its release. Nevertheless, situations where a bat autographed by Virat Kohli is gifted to Vijay ensure he still manages to create a buzz among individuals in the realms of entertainment and sports.
