Ravi Kishan BREAKS SILENCE on his ‘home from work’ meme

'Bas aana hai aur viral ho jana hai': Ravi Kishan BREAKS SILENCE on his 'home from work' meme

Ravi Kishan, in a recent interaction, shared that he has no idea why he goes viral on social media. The actor recently attended the trailer launch event of his upcoming film ‘Maa Behen’, co-starring Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri in Mumbai. During the same, he addressed his viral video in which he said ‘home from work’ instead of ‘work from home’ by mistake while advocating PM Narendra Modi’s WFH campaign.

Ravi Kishan responds to ‘home from work’ meme trend

Now, according to an IANS report, when asked about the virality of his Freudian slip, Ravi Kishan told the media, “I swear on Mahadev; mujhe nahin pata main kyun viral ho jata hun. Maine ‘home from work’ bola tha, ‘jaldi the late’ bola tha. Main Parliament ja raha tha; ‘work from home’ karna tha; ‘home from work’ nikal gaya (I want to say from the bottom of my heart, I swear on Mahadev, I don’t know why I go viral. Recently, I said, ‘Home from work’, and then a few months ago, I said, ‘Jaldi the late’. I was going to parliament. I said, ‘Home from work’; it was supposed to be ‘work from home’).”He added, “Mujhe log aise dekhte hain ki main kisi alag hi space se aaya hun. Main aadmi hun aur main aapki hi tarah galti karta hun. Mujhe aap log viral kyun karte ho, mujhe nahi pata (Why do people look at me like I’m not a human? People look at me as if I came from some other space. I am a man; I make mistakes just like you, and I will continue to do so. So why do you people make me go viral? I don’t know).”During the same interaction at the event, he further shared, “Mujhe sab log puchte hain, meri party mein bhi log puchte hain, my superiors also ask me ‘aap karte kya ho?’ I don’t know, par ye film bhi viral hone wali Hai (Everyone asks me; I won’t take names, even people in my party ask, everyplace. All my superiors also ask me, ‘What do you do to go viral?’ I honestly have no idea. But this film is going to go viral).”The actor ended his words, saying, “Aur main bhi hun aur mujhe to bas aana hai aur viral hona hai (And here I am too; I just have to show up and go viral).”

How did Ravi Kishan go viral?

A few days ago, Ravi Kishan went viral after accidentally saying “home from work” instead of “work from home” during a media interaction while discussing fuel-saving measures and public transport awareness. The slip of the tongue instantly exploded into a meme fest across social media, with users comparing it to his earlier viral phrase, “Jaldi the late”.The actor-politician was explaining Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for reduced fuel consumption and remote working when he repeatedly used the phrase “home from work”.
