Hailee Steinfeld talks about the ‘amazing’ doula who helped her after the birth of her baby

Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen recently welcomed their first child, a baby girl in April this year. The couple has been sharing their journey online on social media to keep fans updated. Now in a recent post, the famed singer and actress revealed what life has been like postpartum, even sharing how she had an amazing doula to help her out.

The singer and actress also handles her own blog, ‘Beau Society’, where she gives updates about her life and things in general. In one of the latest posts on her blog, the actress opened up about how her life has been after giving birth. She shared that she had an “amazing” doula to help her out and assist her in everything.She further added details about the same and shared that “In general, she advised me to stick to warm foods during my postpartum recovery to help digestion and boost nutrient absorption, a philosophy that stems from Ayurveda. Knowing this, my mom made me this amazing albondigas soup the other day. It’s one of those rare soups that looks as good as it tastes.”She further shared that she has been religiously following a cook book that specifically talks about the foods that you should have at the beginning of your postpartum journey. She further added that since she is in the early stages of her journey and how she still has to be mindful about what she eats and what she does.

The two announced the pregnancy in a surprise video on social media. In the video, Steinfeld and Allen were standing and having fun in the snow as she showed off her baby bump. Since then, they have actively shared updates on social media about becoming parents, including celebrating the ‘True Grit’ star’s first Mother’s Day.She took to her account a day after and shared photos of how she spent her first ever Mother’s Day, which included a breakfast spread, cake, bouquets, as well as a rare photo of their baby without revealing their baby girl’s face.
