Indian Railways has launched a special Navratri package, allowing devotees to visit four Jyotirlingas and the Statue of Unity at affordable rates. Here’s all you need to know

IRCTC has introduced a special, nine-day Navratri package for devotees, offering visits to the Statue of Unity and four Jyotirlingas. This exclusive offer is available only to passengers from select states (Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi) and bookings have already commenced.

The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will operate from October 25, coinciding with Navratri, taking passengers on a nine-day spiritual and historical tour across Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.

Boarding Stations

Passengers can board the train at multiple stations in Punjab, Haryana, and Delhi. Starting from Amritsar, the train stops at Jalandhar City, Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Ambala Cantonment, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, Delhi Cantonment, and Rewari, ensuring convenient access for devotees in these regions.

Pilgrimage Highlights

The journey begins with visits to Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga and Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain. The train then proceeds to Kevadia in Gujarat to see the Statue of Unity, the world’s tallest statue and a symbol of modern India. The pilgrimage continues to Dwarka, visiting Dwarkadhish Temple and Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, and concludes at Somnath to witness the Somnath Jyotirlinga.

Seating Options And Fares

The train offers multiple seating options to suit all travellers. Sleeper class has 640 seats, 3AC standard has 70 seats, and 2AC comfort has 52 seats. Fares have been kept reasonable: Rs 19,555 for sleeper class, Rs 27,815 for 3AC, and Rs 39,410 for 2AC per person. The package includes train tickets, meals, hotel accommodation, and AC/non-AC buses for local transport at each destination.
