Just as the excitement rises for the return of Formula One, Ray-Ban decides to unveil its latest Ferrari shades on eve of Miami Grand Prix.

Entitled “Ray-Ban for Scuderia Ferrari Collection”, the new shades appear as teams gather this week in Miami, following a month-long stop in the F1 World Championship due to the war against Iran.

The conflict forced the suspension of two races – the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grand Prix – reducing the season to 22 races.

However, the latest Ray Ban x Scuderia Ferrari has a kicky optimism, ideal for the race in Florida, which will be staged this coming Sunday, May 3.

Boasting oodles of color and attitude, the ORB2228M F708EI sunglasses – to give the model its full name – are designed to capture the electric energy and unmistakable spirit of Miami during race weekend. Crafted from sleek acetate, the silhouette stands out in a transparent blue frame that channels the city’s vibrant, sun-soaked aesthetic, elevated with the iconic Scuderia Ferrari HP signature.

It’s very much an Italian-American moment, since Ray-Ban, one of the USA’s most iconic marques, is owned by EssilorLuxottica, the giant Italian shades and spectacles specialist. While Ferrari, the winningest Formula One team, the highest expression of Italian high-performance racing.

The lenses take center stage: a striking two-tone gradient that transitions from deep blue into vivid yellow, echoing Miami’s glowing sunsets and neon-lit skyline. This dynamic color play enhances visual depth while delivering a distinctive, high-impact look – where performance meets bold design. A true statement piece, infused with light, movement, and adrenaline.

This special design is part of the Ray-Ban for Scuderia Ferrari collection: a capsule of new, special edition models, designed to commemorate the racing energy across the globe.

Rewrite the rules beyond the racetrack with the Ray-Ban for Scuderia Ferrari Miami Special Edition sunglasses, available online and through selected retailers.
