Ahaan was told to step aside for Suhana-Ananya’s pics

Ahaan Panday's old video with Suhana Khan and Ananya Panday resurfaces; 'Saiyaara' star asked to step aside - WATCH

Actor Ahaan Panday has been making waves in the film industry for his record-breaking debut with his romantic film ‘Saiyaara’. Following the film’s success at the box office, details about his big break have been coming to light. One of those revelations was the young star’s 9-year wait for his debut film.

Ahaan on his struggles trying to get a Bollywood break

Addressing the struggle, Ahaan told The Hollywood Reporter India that while he avoids bitterness, he cannot deny feeling let down. “Have I felt wronged by people? Yes, I have. It wouldn’t be right for me to get personal about that through, but as an actor that’s where you take inspiration from,” he shared.

Ahaan’s throwback video resurfaces online

Much before the actor candidly confessed about feeling hurt and let down, fans of the hunk took to social media to post old videos where he was disrespected by the paparazzi. The clip in question saw Ahaan looking jovial as he posed with his cousin Ananya Panday and her BFF, Suhana Khan. Ahaan, who shares a good raport with both actresses took his place between the two while posing for photos. However, it was the paparazzi who asked him to step aside after a few clicks, to enable them to take solo shots of the actresses.

Ananya’s shocked reaction

The clip sees a visibly shocked Ananya immediately turning to Ahaan saying “No,” but the young talent seemed to nod politely and step aside. The clip then cuts to the star smiling and waving to fans eager to take his picture while out on a regular day around town.

Ahaan on being ‘delusional’

During his chat, Ahaan also recalled the early years as a period of “blind optimism,” noting, “The first four-five years, I was entirely delusional, and I think people around me could sense it. I just kept putting myself into different things.”Despite the challenges, Ahaan’s debut film ‘Saiyaara’ with Aneet Pada has gone on to become the highest earning film ever starring debutants in the lead. The film has also become 2025’s second-highest-grossing film and the highest-grossing romantic film in Bollywood, positioning him as one of Bollywood’s most closely watched newcomers. Go to Source
