Many offered prayers and shared affectionate messages remembering Zarine Khan. Actress Neelam Kothari Soni and Deanne Panday reacted to the post with heart emojis. Producer Ekta Kapoor also left an emotional comment for the late Zarine Khan. Ekta wrote, “Aunty is a angel in Jannat blessing all of us.” Fans also flooded the comments section with messages of support for Sussanne and her family.

Earlier Mother’s day tribute

This is not the first time Sussanne Khan has spoken openly about missing her mother. Earlier this year, during Mother’s Day, she had posted another emotional message dedicated to Zarine Khan.At the time, she wrote, “I miss you more each day… you were and still are the Best mother.. thanks to technology i can convert some of our old pics into videos.. looking for a tech miracle to be able to see you again someday.. in real.. i am sure i will. always need to be known as Zarine’s Sussanne.. I may not have been so authentic as you were all the time.. but I try to be better each day.. I miss you my Mummsy.. too too much. and more.”Zarine Khan passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 81. Reports stated that she died due to age-related health complications. She was married to veteran actor and filmmaker Sanjay Khan.She is survived by her children Sussanne Khan, Farah Khan Ali, Zayed Khan, Simone AroraMeanwhile, Eid al-Adha celebrations were observed across the world with prayers and festive gatherings. Several stars from the South Indian film industry, including Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Kamal Haasan, and Suriya, also shared festive wishes and celebratory posts with their followers on social media.
