Dillon Latham explains “crymaxxing” and shares simple hairstyle tips for men

During the Kick livestream, Dillon Latham spoke about something he called “crymaxxing.” While explaining it, he said, “So the thing people don’t know about crymaxxing is, like, you actually have salt in your tears. So what I do is I take the tears and I put it in my hair, and it’s almost like sea salt spray. It’s not funny. Stop. I don’t complain that much.” The clip, shared by AdinUpdate on X, is what pushed this moment into wider discussion. Outside of viral moments, Dillon Latham is known for giving grooming advice. He also runs a men’s haircare brand called Simplectics. His videos often focus on easy changes people can make in their daily routine. In November 2025, he appeared on the Jack Neel Podcast, where he spoke about hairstyles that work for most people. He suggested that a perm can be a simple way to improve appearance. He said, “Well, this isn’t technically a haircut, but I think a perm is one of the best most like easy ways to like look better. You just use a perm, get use some sea salt spray, and it just looks so like cool. But that’s for making your face stand out because when you have a hairstyle like that that’s longer, I notice on younger people, it usually just makes your face flow better.”He also mentioned another option that he believes suits almost everyone. He said, “I don’t know how to explain it, but aside from that, I would say like a low taper fringe, which is like a little fade on your sideburns with like the hair out in the front. Once again, you can like put in some hair product and it looks good on like everyone.”While his “crymaxxing” comment surprised many, it also brought more attention to his content and the simple grooming advice he often shares.
