JSW MG WindsorNew Delhi: JSW MG Motor India on Sunday reported wholesale dispatches of 4,957 units in February 2026, registering a 24 per cent year-on-year growth compared with the same month last year.
The carmaker said the growth was supported by continued demand across its internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) portfolio in the Indian market.
During the month, the company also introduced the MG Majestor, positioned as India’s first D+ segment SUV. The model features triple differential locks — front, rear and centre — along with an advanced four-wheel-drive system, multiple off-road modes and crawl control aimed at improving capability across challenging terrains.
The MG Majestor is offered with what the company calls a “5-5-5” ownership package comprising a five-year unlimited kilometre warranty, five-year roadside assistance and five labour-free services. Customers can pre-book the SUV with an initial booking amount of ₹41,000.
JSW MG Motor India is a joint venture formed in 2023 between China’s SAIC Motor and India’s JSW Group. The partnership aims to expand the brand’s product portfolio and strengthen localisation while building a technology-driven automotive ecosystem in India.
The company manufactures vehicles at its Halol facility in Gujarat, which has an annual production capacity of over 100,000 units.
MG currently sells multiple models in India across segments, including the Hector, ZS EV, Gloster, Astor, Comet and Windsor, as it continues to expand its presence in both conventional and electric mobility segments.
