Abhinav Arora says he sees divine qualities in both Rambhadracharya and Premanand Maharaj.

The controversy between saints over remarks on revered figure Premanand Maharaj continues to deepen, drawing sharp reactions from across the spiritual community. Now, 10-year-old ‘Kathavachak’ (spiritual content creator) Abhinav Arora has entered the debate, appealing for peace and respect among the saints while also making remarks that have stirred fresh discussion.

Speaking to News18, Abhinav Arora said he does not wish to take sides. “I am too young to comment on any saint. Especially on such great saints but I believe that there should not be any dispute between saints. Whether it is Rambhadracharya ji Maharaj or Premanand Maharaj. Both are great saints. Both are walking pilgrimages,” he said.

However, Abhinav also added a pointed observation, “It is a sin to comment on any Mahasangh (grand federation). That is, you must have already known what he was hinting at.”

Abhinav Arora described his reverence for both saints, saying, “I see Lord Rama in Rambhadracharya ji and Kishori ji (an alias for Goddess Radha, the consort of Lord Krishna) in Premanand Maharaj ji. I bow down to both the Maharajas. Saints are mellow. Personally, I never have any animosity towards saints. He did scold me but I enjoyed it. Just a few days ago, he said that you are like my grandson. He also fed me laddus.”

According to him, even rebukes from saints come with affection. “When he scolded me, I did not feel bad, rather I felt good, such a great God-like saint scold me. There was a feeling of love and compassion in his scolding,” he explained.

He further suggested that the controversy itself might carry a deeper spiritual design. “There may be some leela (divine play) behind this entire comment. I pray to all the people with folded hands that why condemn the saints. Why become a partner in this sin by doing so. Do not use words for any Mahasangh. If you comment on Premanand Maharaj and condemn him, then you will be left behind, he is the form of Kishori Ji himself. No matter who it is, do not do this.”

How The Dispute Began

The storm was triggered by a viral video of Jagadguru Rambhadracharyaji Maharaj during a YouTube interview. When asked about the miracles associated with Premanand Maharaj, Rambhadracharyaji dismissed them sharply. “Premanand Maharaj is neither a scholar nor is he miraculous. Premanand is a child-like saint,” he said.

He went further, challenging the saint’s knowledge, “If he has the ability, then he should speak a single letter of Sanskrit in front of me or explain the meaning of a shloka.”

These comments sparked outrage across social media. Several users accused Rambhadracharyaji of arrogance, while others defended Premanand Maharaj as a deeply revered figure. The saint community too has expressed strong displeasure, calling for respectful conduct.
