A disturbing incident from Uttar Pradesh’s Bijnor has shocked the Internet after a domestic help was allegedly caught urinating on utensils while cleaning them at a businessman’s house. She was later arrested. The accused, identified as Samantra, had been working at the Nagina-area residence for nearly a decade before the matter came to light.

The incident has sparked public outrage, while many expressed their concerns over the househelp’s mental health.

Househelp Caught On Camera Urinating On Utensils

The issue grabbed the attention of the viewers after a secretly recorded video of the maid surfaced online. In the clip, the woman appears to be urinating on kitchen utensils while pretending to clean them. According to the homeowner, she had been working at their home for nearly a decade and was thought to be entirely trustworthy until one family member became suspicious and began to observe her activity.

What Did The Househelp Say?

As per Amar Ujala, despite such behaviour, the businessman chose not to file a legal complaint against the maid, and she got bail from the SDM Court.

On Friday, police summoned the accused woman to the station over the shocking act. Circle Officer Anjani Kumar Chaturvedi said she was questioned at length but revealed little, only admitting that she had been working with the businessman for several years. Expressing regret, she said, “Pata nahi kaise mera dimag kharab ho gaya, maine itna bura kaam kiya” (“I don’t know how I lost my mind and did such a bad thing”). She admitted feeling ashamed of her actions.

How Did Social Media React?

In no time, the clip went viral on social media, prompting public outrage and strong reactions from the local community. Residents expressed their shock that someone who had worked for so long could commit such a crime, while others thought that the woman could be suffering from a mental health problem.

An X user commented, “Shameless!! Utter shameless!! These types of acts not only lower the trust in people but also raise a question about where exactly mankind is heading too!! This is nothing but a sick mentality shown by the lady in the video.”

“People who engage in such treacherous and inhumane behaviour should be punished through strict legal action,” a user wrote.

Sharing an update about the case, the Bijnor Police commented on the video and wrote, “In the said case, the Nagina police station has arrested the said woman under Section 170 BNSS and taken action. Necessary proceedings are underway.”
