‘I have a great relationship with him’: Trump says Maduro-style operation against Putin ‘not necessary’

Trump has ruled out the possibility of a Maduro-style military operation against Putin, days after Washington captured Maduro in a dramatic raid. Responding to a reporter’s question, Trump said such an action was “not necessary”, citing his long-standing relationship with Putin even as he expressed disappointment over the ongoing war in Ukraine.
