Golden Globes Awards 2026 Nominations full list:Hollywood’s biggest party, the Golden Globe Awards is all set to officially flag off awards season on Sunday. Besides being the first major award show, a win can help a movie or an actor, build up momentum for their Oscar campaign. There among the top contenders this season, is Paul Thomas Anderson’s politically charged thriller ‘One Battle After Another’ starring Leonardo DiCaprio as an ageing revolutionary. It is considered a strong favourite to win Best Comedy/Musical, having already dominated the awards circuit.DiCaprio will face stiff competition in the Best Actor race from Timothée Chalamet, fresh off a Critics Choice win for ‘Marty Supreme’. In the drama category, Ryan Coogler’s ‘Sinners’ has emerged as the frontrunner, competing against ‘Hamnet’, starring Paul Mescal and Jessie Buckley.Chase Infiniti, on the other hand, will have competition of her own in Best Actress category, including Cynthia Erivo for ‘Wicked: For Good’, Emma Stone for ‘Bugonia’ and Rose Byrne for ‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You’.’One Battle After Another’ leads this awards show with 9 nods, followed by the Danish film ‘Sentimental Value’ with eight nominations. ‘Sinners’, ‘Hamnet’ and ‘Frankenstein’ follow with 7, 6 and 5 nominations each. The Golden Globes offer separate awards for dramas and comedies/musicals – widening the field of stars who could walk the red carpet, and fueling the suspense.Helen Mirren will be honored with the Golden Globes’ Cecil B. DeMille Award for a life of work on screen, and Sarah Jessica Parker will get the Carol Burnett Award for her career in television.Mirren and Parker this week will get a separate Beverly Hilton gala, a recording of which will air Thursday at 8 p.m. Eastern and Pacific on CBS and also stream on Paramount+ on what’s being called “Golden Eve.”Here are the nominees in key categories for the 83rd Golden Globe Awards, which will be handed out on Sunday.
