Sri Lanka hails India’s Operation Sagar Bandhu, honours INS Vikrant among foreign vessels for cyclone relief

The Sri Lanka Navy has honoured eight foreign vessels, including two from India, for their vital assistance during Cyclone Ditwah, which claimed over 600 lives. Indian Navy ships INS Vikrant and INS Udayagiri played a major role in rescue and relief under Operation Sagar Bandhu, as Sri Lanka faced severe flooding, landslides and infrastructure damage.
