UP BJP Steps Up 2027 Poll Preparations as New State Chief Pankaj Chaudhary Holds Key Meetings

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Uttar Pradesh has intensified its political and organizational preparations following the appointment of its new state president, Pankaj Chaudhary. A series of high-level meetings are being held in Lucknow, signaling the party’s early push towards the 2027 Assembly elections. On Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, BJP National President JP Nadda, and State President Pankaj Chaudhary chaired an important meeting with state-level office bearers at the BJP headquarters. The discussion focused on strengthening coordination between the party organization and the government. Special emphasis was laid on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list, which the leadership considers crucial for upcoming elections. Continuing the momentum, Pankaj Chaudhary is holding another major organizational meeting today. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Chief Ministers, MPs, MLAs, booth-level agents (BLAs), and senior party officials are attending the meeting. The agenda includes accelerating the SIR process and formulating strategies for graduate, panchayat, and assembly elections. Sources indicate that the BJP leadership is also working to dispel speculation about differences between the government and the organization, projecting unity and discipline. With frequent meetings and focused planning, the BJP has clearly begun laying the groundwork well ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly polls.
