Ayodhya Donation: SIT to Submit Final Ayodhya Donation Theft Report in First Week of July

he Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the alleged donation theft at the Ayodhya Ram Temple is expected to submit its final report to the Uttar Pradesh government in the first week of July. Before finalising its findings, the SIT is likely to hold a meeting in Lucknow and may revisit Ayodhya if investigators feel additional questioning or evidence collection is required. Sources said the team could re-examine key individuals linked to the temple administration, including Champat Rai, Anil Mishra, and Gopal Rao, before completing the probe. Meanwhile, a parallel investigation by Ayodhya Police is also underway. During recent raids at the homes of the accused, police reportedly recovered cash, jewellery, and several documents, which are now being examined. Investigators have also sought bank account details and locker information of the accused and individuals associated with the temple trust. Officials indicated that police will first consolidate evidence before seeking the custody of the accused for further interrogation as part of the ongoing investigation.
