Tata Motors PV on Sunday revealed the prices for the top-end Accomplished and Accomplished+ variants of the Sierra SUV, with ex-showroom prices starting at ₹17.99 lakh and going up to ₹21.29 lakh, effectively completing the pricing of the model range.

The Accomplished and Accomplished+ trims, positioned at the top of the Sierra portfolio, are offered with multiple engine and transmission combinations, including petrol and diesel powertrains, and are aimed at buyers seeking a feature-rich configuration.

Across the broader lineup, Sierra is offered in four trims — Smart+, Pure/Pure+, Adventure/Adventure+ and Accomplished/Accomplished+, spanning a wide range of powertrains and transmissions.

The automaker had revealed prices for the Smart+, Pure/Pure+ and Adventure/Adventure+ trims last week, while holding back pricing for the fully loaded variants until now.

The entry-level Smart+ variant, priced at ₹11.49 lakh, is available with a 1.5-litre Revotron petrol engine and manual transmission, while the diesel Smart+ with the 1.5-litre KRYOJET engine is priced at ₹12.99 lakh.

The Pure and Pure+ trims, announced earlier, are priced between ₹12.99 lakh and ₹17.49 lakh, depending on engine and transmission choice, while the Adventure and Adventure+ trims range from ₹15.29 lakh to ₹18.49 lakh, including options with the 1.5-litre TGDi Hyperion petrol engine paired with an automatic gearbox.

Feature-wise, Tata Motors PV said the Sierra offers over 50 features on the Smart+ variant, rising to more than 230 features on the Accomplished and Accomplished+ trims.

Depending on the variant, buyers can choose from three to six colour options and two to five powertrain choices, with manual, automatic and dual-clutch transmissions available across the range.

Fuel efficiency and performance

In a separate development last week, the Tata Sierra has been listed in the India Book of Records for achieving the highest fuel efficiency over 12 hours. During a certified run at NATRAX, Indore, the vehicle recorded 29.9 kmpl. In another run conducted under specified test conditions, the Sierra also achieved a top speed of 222 km/h.

Mohan Savarkar, Chief Product Officer, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, said, “The Hyperion engine platform was built to push the boundaries of what petrol powertrains can achieve, and this milestone validates that effort.”>
