War Alert: Iran Targets US Embassy in Baghdad, Hezbollah Strikes Israel, Tensions Escalate

On the 18th day of the ongoing conflict, major developments continue to unfold across the Middle East. Iran launched a drone strike targeting the US Embassy in Baghdad, the capital of Iraq. Two drones were reportedly used in the attack, causing explosions and damage to the embassy परिसर. In response, the United States activated its advanced C-RAM defense system to intercept incoming threats and protect the facility. Meanwhile, Hezbollah launched a major assault on Israel, firing rockets and drones toward the northern city of Nahariya, triggering fires and emergency sirens. Rescue operations are ongoing as authorities try to control the damage. The US also carried out heavy bombing on Kharg Island, a critical Iranian oil hub. President Donald Trump warned that Iran’s oil infrastructure could be destroyed “within minutes” if tensions escalate further. Iran, however, issued a strong warning of severe consequences in case of another strike. Amid this, tensions over the Strait of Hormuz continue, with the US struggling to gain allied support to secure the vital oil route.
