Amid rising global tensions, India has announced a significant increase in the price of commercial LPG cylinders. The price has been hiked by ₹195.50 per cylinder, taking the total cost in Delhi to ₹2078.50. The revised rates have come into effect immediately from today. This is the third increase in commercial LPG prices within a single month, highlighting a consistent upward trend that may be influenced by global market conditions and supply factors. Commercial LPG cylinders are mainly used by hotels, restaurants, catering businesses, and large organizations, so this hike is expected to increase operational costs for these sectors. As a result, consumers may indirectly feel the impact through higher food prices and service charges. However, there is some relief for households, as there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders used for cooking in homes. Overall, while the direct burden is on businesses, the ripple effect could influence everyday expenses for the general public.
