Iran War: An Iranian drone strike targeted fuel storage tanks at Kuwait’s international airport, triggering a massive fire, according to Kuwait News Agency. No casualties have been reported so far.

Emergency teams were rushed to the site, with initial assessments indicating only material damage at a facility operated by the Kuwait Aviation Fueling Company. A civil aviation spokesperson confirmed that the impact was limited to infrastructure losses.

In a separate incident, authorities in Bahrain said civil defence teams were working to control a fire at a company facility following what officials described as another Iranian attack. The interior ministry added that all necessary response measures have been put in place.

Israel’s Strikes In Iran

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces said it carried out a “wide-scale wave” of strikes in Tehran on Wednesday. Iranian state broadcaster IRIB reported multiple explosions across different parts of the city. The Israeli military said the strikes targeted infrastructure linked to what it called the Iranian regime.

In another development, the Israeli military said one of its drones was shot down by a surface-to-air missile during operations in southern Lebanon overnight.

Amid the escalating conflict, the Indian government moved to cushion the impact of surging fuel prices. The Centre capped the increase in Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices for domestic airlines at 25%, calling it a partial and staggered hike despite global pressures.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas said ATF prices, which are revised monthly based on international benchmarks, were expected to rise by over 100% due to disruptions caused by tensions in the Middle East and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz following US-Israeli strikes on Iran.
