Breaking: Violent Protests Erupt In Bangladesh Ahead Of Verdict As Mob Attacks And Arson Spread | ABP NEWS

Intense unrest has gripped Bangladesh as violent protests escalate ahead of the anticipated court verdict involving former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Demonstrators were seen torching vehicles, homes, and even railway tracks as clashes intensified across several districts. Long traffic jams formed as protesters carrying flaming torches stormed major roads, creating a climate of fear and chaos. Tensions rose further after a warning reportedly issued by Sheikh Hasina’s son, urging authorities to lift restrictions, failed to de-escalate the situation. Meanwhile, disturbing scenes also emerged from Dibiapur, where a group of armed miscreants turned a busy marketplace into a battleground. When a local cloth merchant resisted their intimidation, he was brutally beaten. Family members who rushed to help were assaulted with sticks and rods. Within moments, panic spread through the entire market as the attackers stormed into shops and continued their assault, leaving the victims severely injured. In a separate political development, sources suggest that chief ministers from several states may attend a major swearing-in ceremony expected on 20 November. However, rising violence in multiple regions continues to overshadow political preparations, raising concerns about security and public safety.
