Cloudflare Outage: Company Reveals What Went Wrong

As users across multiple platforms continue to face glitches linked to the ongoing Cloudflare outage, the company has now indicated what triggered the disruption. “We saw a spike in unusual traffic to one of Cloudflare’s services beginning at 11.20am. That caused some traffic passing through Cloudflare’s network to experience errors,” a spokesperson was quoted saying. The surge in abnormal traffic appears to have set off cascading failures across services dependent on Cloudflare’s infrastructure.
