Fernando begins his 1-euro foodie adventure by purchasing a piece of soft, fresh mozzarella - a white, semi-soft cheese with a delicate, milky flavour and a hint of sweetness. He walks around while biting into it. Next, he eats a speciality Sicilian-style pizza called sfincione, also for just 1 euro. This pizza has a thick, sponge-like texture with a delicious onion and anchovy sauce, and it is drizzled with olive oil before serving.

The third tasty treat for a euro is arancina or arancini - Italian rice balls that are stuffed, coated with breadcrumbs, and deep-fried. They have a core of molten mozzarella. This is followed by a glass of freshly squeezed lemon juice for 1 euro, which looks super refreshing and delicious. The last item on the list is an Italian dessert called cannolo, a tempting traditional Sicilian pastry consisting of a tube-shaped fried shell filled with a sweet, creamy filling.
