Barron Trump, the 18-year-old son of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, continues to attract attention. Recently, Melania shared why Barron chose not to live on the NYU campus while attending the prestigious Stern School of Business. Standing tall at 6-foot-7, Barron is currently pursuing his studies at New York University.
When Donald Trump was elected president for his first term, Melania made it a priority to shield their son, Barron, from the public eye, keeping him largely out of the spotlight. Known for his low profile, Barron has stayed mostly private over the years. However, with his recent rise to prominence as a student at NYU, he has now captured the media’s attention.
Following Donald Trump’s recent win as president, the media inquired about his son Barron, to which he explained that Barron chose to attend the Stern School of Business at NYU himself. Melania added that their son decided to live at Trump Tower, the family’s New York residence because he preferred to stay at home rather than on campus.
The outlet further mentioned that Melania even lived with her son in New York before recently shifting to the White House. However, it was later discovered that Melania made the decision to reside at home and she refused to allow Barron to live in on-campus accommodation.
Barron has extensive protection, making him highly visible on campus. The publication also reported that Melania does not want strangers to get access to or take advantage of him. She made a command decision for Barron, citing security concerns.
According to sources close to Barron, he hardly has any friends. He communicates with his peers only through video games. Melania urges him to meet new friends, but she warns him to be cautious. Donald Trump further added that he is not sure that his son ever had a girlfriend and he thinks that Barron prefers his own company.
Earlier, Barron appeared at his father’s inauguration ceremony and became a crowd favourite. The young lad donned a dark-tailored suit complete with an American flag lapel pin.
