Hamas Names Four Israeli Female Soldiers To Be Released In Gaza Hostage Deal - News18

Hamas has put out the names of four hostages — Israeli female soldiers — who are expected to be released on Saturday as part of the ceasefire deal with Israel.
This comes days after three hostages were released last Sunday. The ceasefire entered its sixth day on Friday and is set to enter its second week.
The hostages who will be freed tomorrow include Karina Ariev, Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy, all aged 20, and Liri Albag, 19. All of them were serving in the Israeli Defence Forces (IDF).
All four are set to return to their home in Israel in exchange for the Palestinian prisoners.
Israel has yet not confirmed the names.
“A list of kidnapped women has been received by the mediators. Israel’s response will be provided later," Benjamin Netanyahu’s Prime Minister’s Office said.
As per the terms of the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal, 33 hostages are to be released within a span of six weeks in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners.
“After the Palestinian resistance factions announced the names of the occupation prisoners who are to be released tomorrow, which included the names of four female soldiers; we are waiting for the list of Palestinian prisoners who are to be released tomorrow, which will include 120 prisoners with life sentences, and 80 prisoners with high sentences, according to what was stipulated in the ceasefire agreement in the deal," Gaza-based Prisoners’ Media Office said in a statement.
Notably, around 250 people were abducted in Israel on October 7, 2023, and some have died in Hamas captivity in Gaza. Some have also been released or rescued.

As many as 91 are yet to be released from Hamas captivity, including the four hostages expected to be released tomorrow.
The ceasefire, mediated by Qatar, Egypt, and the US, has temporarily halted 15 months of devastating conflict in Gaza, which has left much of the enclave in ruins.
