Impact on Flights and Trains

The adverse weather conditions have disrupted transportation, with multiple flights facing delays at Delhi’s airport. Train services have also been affected, with several trains running behind schedule or being canceled. Among the delayed trains were Purushottam Express, Poorva Express, Shramjeevi Express, and JBP NZM SF Express. In a public advisory, Delhi airport urged passengers to stay updated on flight schedules by contacting their respective airlines.

For Tuesday, January 14, 2025, the IMD has extended the yellow alert for “dense to very dense fog” in Delhi. The city is expected to experience colder conditions, with a minimum temperature dropping to 6°C and a maximum temperature remaining steady at 19°C.
