I Want To Talk, the Shoojit Sircar directorial featuring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead, received much love from the audience and critics alike upon its release in November 2024. However, if you missed the slice-of-life drama film in the theatres, you can now watch it in the comfort of your home. As I Want To Talk is now streaming on the OTT giant Amazon Prime Video. Based on a true story, the film follows the life of Arjun Sen (played by Abhishek), a marketing professional based in the US who gets diagnosed with cancer. After several surgeries, Arjun survives and lives to tell the story. The film also focuses on his bond with daughter Reya, whom he co-parents with his former wife.

The film also features Johnny Lever, Banita Sandhu Jayant Kriplani and Ahilya Bamroo in the lead roles.

Despite positive word of mouth, the film failed to impress the audiences at the box office. As per sacnilk.com, I Want To Talk did a total business of Rs 2.3 Crore Gross in India.

Earlier, while talking about his role in the film, Abhishek told Hindustan Times, “Someone who has dealt with the things he has and continues to deal with, it’s very easy to get fed up after 31 something years and say, ‘bahut ho gaya hai, abhi aur nahi karna hai’ (I’ve had enough, I don’t want to carry on). But no, the fact that he continues at it, constantly striving, is what makes him truly brave."

Meanwhile, talking about his other projects, Abhishek will be next seen in the drama film Be Happy for Prime Video. Helmed by Remo D’souza, the film also features Nora Fatehi and a child artist Inayat Verma in the lead roles.

The film is a captivating dance drama that follows the unique and heartwarming journey of a single father and his wise-beyond-her-years daughter. However, the official release date of the film is still awaited.

Apart from this, he will also be seen playing a negative role in Shah Rukh Khan’s next action thriller film King. Reportedly being helmed by Siddharth Anand, the film also features Suhana Khan in the lead roles.
