AAJ KA PANCHANG, JANUARY 15, 2025: The Krishna Paksha’s Dwitiya Tithi and Navami Tithi will be observed on January 15. On this day, events like Mattu Pongal and Magh Bihu will be celebrated. On the third day of the Pongal celebration in Tamil Nadu, people celebrate Mattu Pongal, a day to honour cattle for their contribution to agriculture.

Assam celebrates the end of the harvest season with the Magh Bihu celebration. Before starting any rituals, one must check the Tithi and search for the auspicious and inauspicious hours in the morning. This can help prevent any issues during the day and offer useful information.

According to Drik Panchang, the sunrise will take place at 7:15 AM, and the sunset will be at 5:46 PM. The moonrise is expected at 7:12 PM, while the moonset time is anticipated at 8:25 AM.

The Dwitiya Tithi will be there until 3:23 AM on January 16, at which point it will move on to Tritiya Tithi. After Pushya Nakshatra concludes at 10:28 AM, it will move on to Ashlesha Nakshatra. According to predictions, the sun would be in the Makara Rashi and the moon would be in the Karka Rashi.

The fortunate Muhurats begin with Brahma Muhurat at 5:27 AM to 6:21 AM. Then, from 5:54 AM until 7:15 AM, the Pratah Sandhya shall occur. The Vijaya Muhurat is scheduled from 2:16 PM to 2:58 PM. Later in the evening, Godhuli Muhurat will take place from 5:44 PM to 6:11 PM, while Sayahna Sandhya will take place from 5:46 PM to 7:07 PM. Nishita Muhurat will take place on January 16 from 12:04 AM to 12:58 AM.

 

The inauspicious periods of the day are as follows: The Rahu Kalam Muhurat is scheduled to take place between 12:31 PM and 1:50 PM, the Yamaganda Muhurat between 8:34 AM and 9:53 AM, and the Gulikai Kalam Muhurat between 11:12 AM to 12:31 PM. In addition, the Baana Muhurat will be held in Mrityu from 8:37 AM till full night.
