Farah Khan recently visited Udaipur, the city of lakes, and gave her fans a glimpse of her royal stay at the iconic Taj Fateh Prakash Palace. In her YouTube video posted on September 10, the filmmaker and choreographer shared the experience of staying in one of India’s most luxurious palaces. She also had the chance to meet the king of Mewar, Lakshyaraj Singh, adding a regal touch to her trip.

The palace is known for its rich history and majestic architecture. It has been a favourite spot for celebrities and tourists seeking a royal experience in India.

Farah stayed in the royal suite of Taj Fateh Prakash Palace, which boasts high ceilings, detailed frescoes, and hand-painted walls that reflect Mewar’s royal legacy. The suite features a large four-poster bed with elegant fabrics, antique furniture, ornate mirrors, and beautiful chandeliers. Large windows open up to stunning views of Lake Pichola and the famous Lake Palace.

Her bathroom was equally impressive, decorated with marble finishes, gold-plated fixtures, and a deep bathtub overlooking the city. Farah shared her amazement, saying, “It’s like a flat! Have you ever seen such a luxurious bathroom?” She added, “You can see the entire Udaipur while taking a bath.” The suite’s plush carpets and royal artwork add to the palace’s charm.

Farah also visited the palace’s grand lobby, which left her in awe. The lobby features a huge chandelier, exquisite flower arrangements, and antique décor that seem straight out of a movie. The palace also has beautiful gardens and a sparkling swimming pool, offering peaceful views.

Price of The Royal Experience

According to MakeMyTrip, the royal suite where Farah stayed costs around Rs 36,000 per night, giving guests a chance to experience true luxury and history in Udaipur.

Guests can enjoy an outdoor pool, in-house restaurant, bar, high-speed Wi-Fi, and airport transfers. The palace has a variety of elegant rooms and suites, each designed with traditional Mewari architecture and modern comforts, including spacious balconies, antique furniture, and luxurious bathrooms.

The property is wheelchair accessible and provides valet parking, car rentals, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests can experience local culture through heritage walks, folk dance shows, and boat rides on Lake Pichola, located just 400 meters away. The palace is conveniently located near Udaipur’s railway station and airport, making it easy to reach.
