The Spanish fashion chain owned by the Inditex group has announced a new creative partnership. Zara has signed a collaboration with the London-based brand Caramel London, founded by Eva Karayiannis, which will span several seasons with the aim of presenting a more refined, functional, and contemporary vision of childrenswear.

The collaboration will combine Zara’s signature style with the creative universe of the label, founded in 1999 and recognised for its timeless designs, meticulous fabric selection, and sophisticated approach. The result of this alliance will debut on Wednesday, both online and in a selection of physical stores, with an inaugural childrenswear collection inspired by utilitarian, functional design and a contemporary aesthetic, developed with Zara’s design and product teams.

“I want to create clothes that children can live in and make their own,” said Eva Karayiannis, underscoring the intention to “always give them the freedom to express their personality and be themselves.” The launch will also be accompanied by a limited selection of womenswear and accessories.

With this collaboration, the brand continues to open its creative universe to other designers and influential personalities, following recent initiatives such as the collection designed with American designer of Mexican descent Willy Chavarria, the two-year creative agreement reached with John Galliano, whose first launches are due from September 2026, and, more recently, the capsule co-created with New York model and actress Marisa Berenson.

Founded in 1975, Zara operated a retail network of around 1,500 points of sale, including company-owned stores and franchises, at the close of its last financial year. In the 2025 financial year, the Galician chain, which reports its results jointly with Zara Home and Lefties, recorded revenue of €28.051 billion, up by close to 1% on the previous year.

The brand is part of the Inditex conglomerate, chaired by Marta Ortega, which also includes chains such as Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Stradivarius, Zara Home, Pull&Bear, Oysho, and Lefties. During the same period, the group posted growth of 3.2% over the previous year, with sales of €39.864 billion.
