Cool sneaker brands and designer labels are happily linking up at the moment (think On with Loewe) and the latest collab to attract attention is Onitsuka Tiger with Versace.

Admittedly, it may not have been the ultimate newsworthy element of Versace’s Milan Fashion Week show last Friday given that it was Dario Vitale’s debut for the label and that fact would have been hard to beat. But the collab will be a key one for sneakerheads come the SS26 season.
The collaboration model features Onitsuka Tiger’s famous Tai-Chi. Made at the brand’s own factory located in the Sanin Tottori, Japan, it uses “carefully selected” Italian materials.
Notable features include double stitching on the Onitsuka Tiger stripes and Versace’s unmissable Medusa symbol in studded embellishments on the tongue. The upper is treated with a washing process or buffing to achieve a vintage texture.
The shoe company said these special models “embody a meticulous design realised through the fusion of Italian and Japanese craftsmanship”.
A total of eight looks were presented as part of the collection and they’ll be available at selected Versace flagship stores worldwide as well as on the official online store.
The release is scheduled for next spring, with further details regarding pricing, store availability, and purchasing methods to be announced at a later date.
