Salomon to kit out Paris Opera Ballet dancers

On Wednesday, the Paris Opera and Salomon announced an unprecedented partnership bridging their two worlds. From the 2025-2026 season, Salomon will become the official equipment supplier to the Paris Opera Ballet. Over three seasons, the Annecy-based brand will provide the Ballet’s 154 dancers with gear for every phase of their daily practice, from warm-ups and training to rehearsals, recovery, and travel.

This partnership is a natural meeting of two worlds united by movement, discipline and the pursuit of excellence,” said Salomon CEO Guillaume Meyzenq in a press release.

This partnership with Salomon reflects our desire to offer them tools that match their daily commitment and the demands of their practice,” emphasises José Martinez, director of dance at the Paris Opera. The Paris Opera’s Director, Alexander Neef, adds: “The Paris Opera is an institution driven by women and men whose discipline and daily commitment command admiration. We are delighted to welcome Salomon among our partners and to share this common vision of performance.”

This unexpected collaboration is rooted in a “shared culture of movement… From the stage to the outdoors, dancers and athletes share the same quest for precision, the same attention to movement, preparation, and progression,” Salomon said in a statement.

The brand will supply the artists with training footwear, technical apparel, and accessories. To mark the start of this partnership, the Paris Opera and Salomon are unveiling an initial visual featuring dancers from the ballet. This partnership is expected to pave the way for multiple cultural collaborations for the outdoor and mountain sports brand.
