Nike is taking another step forward in the development of its outdoor division. After launching a global relaunch of its All Conditions Gear (ACG) brand- marked in particular by the opening of an exclusive store in Beijing- the American sportswear company is now expanding its presence across Europe. The group has just signed a strategic distribution agreement with the French agency French Albion to manage its outdoor network.

This partnership covers several key markets, including France, Italy, the Benelux countries, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, and Poland. Under this agreement, French Albion will handle the entire ACG product line, which is marketed directly to specialty retailers. The portfolio of distributed products encompasses both the performance segment- with lines dedicated to trail running and hiking- and lifestyle-inspired collections.
“Representing ACG in Europe is much more than just a distribution agreement,” said Anthony Cazottes, president and CEO of French Albion. “It’s a unique opportunity to support an outdoor icon. This brand embodies a vision of outdoor performance that resonates directly with the specialty retailers we already serve with our other brands. We are proud of the trust ACG has placed in us and are fully committed to ensuring the brand secures the position it deserves in the European market.”
Founded in 1988, the ACG division now positions itself with technical products that have a strong fashion-forward aesthetic. This expanded commercial rollout comes as the outdoor market in Europe is becoming increasingly structured. French Albion, headquartered in southwestern France, explains that the agency will draw on its multichannel expertise and existing logistics and marketing infrastructure to roll out the brand. The company already represents North American brands such as Saxx Underwear, Topo Designs, Katin, Sun Bum, and Business & Pleasure Co. By taking on the ACG challenge, however, the company is entering a new level of partnerships and relationships with European retailers.
