Gap is expanding its connection to fashion and culture for Summer 2026 with the launch of two football-inspired collections created in collaboration with The Brooklyn Circus founder and longtime Gap collaborator Ouigi Theodore.

Set to launch on May 29, the OuiGap apparel and accessories collection pays tribute to the style influences that define the global game. The collection pays tribute to Haiti’s historic 1974 national football team, incorporating recurring “’74” motifs across jerseys, jackets, knitwear and coordinated separates.

Born in Haiti in 1974 before later moving to New York City, Theodore drew on his personal connection to football, connecting diaspora, sport, music, and style through fashion. The collaboration builds on the success of Gap’s 2023 partnership with The Brooklyn Circus and continues Theodore’s signature approach.

“There’s something powerful about seeing global sport, heritage, fashion, and art come together,” said Ouigi Theodore, founder of The Brooklyn Circus.

“The collection we designed with Gap was created in that spirit. I became a designer to tell stories with history, meaning, and a future. Ayiti to the Future.”

Alongside the OuiGap launch, Gap has also introduced a separate football-themed capsule collection featuring jerseys, hoodies, T-shirts and hats for adults and children representing countries including the United States, Mexico, Argentina, Spain, France, England, Brazil and Japan.

The collections launch with campaigns, creative directed by Theodore and photographed by Ackime Snow, which focus on what Theodore describes as a “global village,” highlighting football’s role as a shared cultural language across communities worldwide.

“Ouigi Theodore is a true collaborator and a culture shifter who understands that fashion is most powerful when it tells a story,” said Mark Breitbard, president and CEO of Gap brand.

“This collection bridges the gap between heritage style and the electric energy of football fandom and offers fans a way to express their passion with both soul and originality.”
