Farfetch launches exclusive Dolce & Gabbana x ’47 collection

Published
April 17, 2026

Farfetch continues to launch special collaborations with big-name labels and its latest is an exclusive link-up with Dolce & Gabbana, although it’s not about couture-style pieces or glam eveningwear. Instead it’s about elevated versions of that most humble of items, the baseball cap.

The new Dolce&Gabbana x ‘47 collaboration is only available on Farfetch globally with the e-tailer saying it’s “more than a seasonal drop, this collaboration connects Dolce & Gabbana’s luxury DNA with ‘47’s deep-rooted American sports legacy, which positions these exclusive items and limited collection as genuine investment pieces”.

Doralice Belli, head of merchandising at Farfetch said that it’s an “opportunity to own a cultural piece” and it’s likely to appeal to “collectors, MLB enthusiasts, and style creatives alike”.

And that sums up the appeal for a luxury retailer and a high-end designer label. Collectability is a huge factor in any collaboration and there limited an edition it is, the more collectable it becomes.

The companies said that each cap in this selection has been “completely reinvented with the unmistakable hallmarks of Dolce & Gabbana, paying homage to three of the most revered franchises in baseball: the Los Angeles Dodgers, the New York Yankees, and the New York Mets”.

As mentioned, exclusive link-ups are hugely important to online luxury retailers with big-hitters including Net-A-Porter and Mytheresa also announcing an ongoing list of not-available-elsewhere launches.
