Dolce & Gabbana and Ray-Ban join forces for a collection that puts the Aviator centre stage

From 16 April, the new collaboration between Dolce & Gabbana and Ray-Ban will be available, paying homage to the iconic Aviator model as it approaches its 90th anniversary, reimagined by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in the new Shooter and Outdoorsman II versions.

Archival details take centre stage in the Shooter model, distinguished by a bold silhouette featuring a mother-of-pearl brow bar and an integrated cigarette holder. The teardrop lenses come in shades of orange, pink, green, blue and yellow, finished with transparent accents and the applied Ray-Ban and Dolce & Gabbana logos. The slim metal frame follows the classic Aviator shape, creating space between the lenses and the frame for a rimless effect.

The Outdoorsman II model presents a classic design enriched with contemporary accents. Its pronounced brow bar lends a bold, graphic profile, offset by the lightness of the slim metal frame. The teardrop lenses, mirrored or transparent, are offered in blue, powder pink, beige, brown and green, and are embellished with the two brands’ logos.

Each model comes with a leather case featuring a strap and a gold-tone metal snap hook, enriched with Dolce & Gabbana detailing and designed to be worn as an accessory. The launch of the collection is supported by a campaign shot by Gray Sorrenti.
