For Elisha Wadhwani, the flagship is more than just a retail address, it is a manifesto of transformation

After more than two decades at the forefront of contemporary Indian fashion, Elisha Wadhwani has unveiled her first-ever flagship store at The Dhanmill Compound, New Delhi—a space where couture meets charisma, and tradition flirts with modern glamour. Known for her fearless silhouettes, statement embellishments, and an instinctive ability to blur the lines between red carpet drama and artisanal craft, Wadhwani brings her signature fusion of old-world techniques and contemporary flair to life in a space that feels equal parts runway and reverie.

Designed as an enchanting sanctuary for the modern muse, the flagship captures the mood of midnight soirées, champagne dreams, and cultural pride—wrapped in velvet, lace, and crystal light. Spanning over 1,000 sq. ft., the store is conceived as a luxurious yet grounded haven of modern Indian couture, reflecting Elisha’s philosophy of merging heritage with contemporary elegance.

Four Distinct Zones of Luxury

The store unfolds across four thoughtfully curated zones:

The Welcome Area: Featuring salmon pink onyx inlay, this space introduces understated luxury from the moment guests step inside.

Luxury Pret Section: Bathed in natural light, this area showcases power suits, co-ords, and statement jackets, anchored by a centerpiece onyx table.

Couture Section: Dramatic metallic finishes and mood-based lighting heighten the allure of evening gowns and contemporary ensembles.

The Lounge: A curated space celebrating craft heritage, with suspended artwork inspired by glass museums, chikankari printing blocks, and Ek Taar embroidery.

Autumn/Winter ’25 Collection Debuts

To mark the grand opening, Wadhwani unveiled her Autumn/Winter ’25 collection, a deeply personal narrative woven with crystal embellishments, intricate zardozi embroidery, and a signature revival of chikankari. The collection spans delicate pastels to opulent jewel tones of royal blue, wine, and deep purple, evoking the intimacy of winter evenings, the sophistication of cocktail galas, and the glamour of after-parties.

Standout pieces include structured metallic Chantilly lace power suits, fluid new-age gowns, organza shirts layered with delicate appliqué overlays, and statement velvet gowns. Central to the collection is the Ektaar Chikankari series, which reinvents traditional sarees and lehengas for the modern woman, balancing heritage with contemporary design.

A Philosophy of Reinvention

For Elisha Wadhwani, the flagship is more than just a retail address, it is a manifesto of transformation. “This store is the culmination of twenty years of dedication, experimentation, and evolution,” says Wadhwani, Creative Director. “Every piece I create is a dialogue between heritage and modernity. With this flagship, I wanted to give that dialogue a home, one that reflects bold individuality while celebrating the legacy of Indian craftsmanship.”
