Singer-actress Selena Gomez, recently seen celebrating her bachelorette party, is eagerly counting down the days to her wedding. She will soon marry music producer Benny Blanco in an intimate ceremony in Montecito, California.

Selena expressed her excitement to say “I do” to her fiancé while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She was there promoting her popular show, Only Murders in the Building, co-starring Steve Martin and Martin Short. According to the actor, she is going to invite her co-stars to the wedding.

When questioned regarding the wedding preparations, Selena had a beaming smile as she said, “It’s amazing. I’m really fortunate. It’s all good. I’m so thrilled.”

Her co-star Martin Short brought some humor into the question, making a joke, “We are all thrilled because we adore this lady and we adore her fiancé, Bad Bunny.”

Relationship Journey and Engagement

Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez started dating in July 2023 after years of acquaintance. In December 2024, the pair became engaged and will wed at the end of September 2025. The wedding venue will reportedly be Montecito, as stated by TMZ.

Selena posted her engagement on Instagram, where she sported her gorgeous marquise diamond ring, valued at between $200,000 and $1 million. She captioned the photo, “Forever begins now.” Benny Blanco left the comment, “Hey, wait. That’s my wife.”

On Love and Commitment

In an open conversation with the interviewer, Selena explained why her relationship with Blanco is special. “My perspective on it, in a simplistic way, is that I actually feel valued. I feel seen. I feel respected. And I think that’s all I’ve ever really wanted. I’ve kind of been alone in the world. I was alone for five years before we got together, and I think that really helped me appreciate someone like Ben. He gets so weirded out by me saying this, but genuinely, 10 years ago, I wasn’t in a space in my life where I could have accepted the kind of patience, the kind of unconditional love that he gives me,” shared Selena.

Blanco offered his own take with a laugh, saying, “Happy wife, happy life. Shut the f**k up and listen to your partner.”

Excitement Builds for the Montecito Wedding

The fans are all waiting for the union of the couple, and with Selena’s beaming words, the wait has hit a fever pitch. The wedding will be an intimate yet glamorous experience as close friends, family, and co-stars come together.

From the point of engagement to wedding planning, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have continued giving fans brief moments into their love story, presenting fans with a warm and relatable tale of devotion, happiness, and celebration.
