Panic spread across the Phulpur area of Varanasi after a massive fire broke out in a plastic pipe warehouse located near a CNG pump. The blaze intensified rapidly, engulfing the entire godown and sending towering flames and thick black smoke into the sky, causing chaos among nearby residents. Multiple fire brigade vehicles rushed to the scene after receiving information about the incident and launched an operation to bring the fire under control. Preliminary reports suggest that a short circuit may have triggered the blaze. Although there were fears of a possible CNG-related explosion due to the warehouse’s proximity to the fuel station, authorities have not confirmed any major blast. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported in the incident so far. The fire created widespread panic, but timely intervention by emergency responders helped prevent further damage and avert a larger disaster.
