The Special Investigation Team (SIT) entered the sixth day of its probe into the alleged donation theft case at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, questioning temple management staff and examining fresh leads. So far, around 140 people have been interrogated, and investigators have reportedly identified two different methods allegedly used in the theft. During his first visit to Ayodhya after the controversy surfaced, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured that the SIT would “separate truth from falsehood” and warned that no guilty person would be spared, regardless of influence. He urged the public to avoid speculation and allow the investigation to conclude, with a preliminary report expected within seven days and a final report in 15 days. However, questions continue to be raised over the absence of an FIR, the continued functioning of trust officials under scrutiny, and whether the ongoing probe could be influenced. Yogi also accused opposition parties of attempting to malign Ayodhya and the Ram Temple.
