UP Encounter: ₹1.5 Lakh Bounty Criminal Killed in Lucknow Police Action | ABP News

In a joint operation by Lucknow Police and the Crime Branch, a notorious criminal with a ₹1.5 lakh bounty, identified as Gurusevak, was killed on the Agra-Lucknow Expressway. Gurusevak was accused of murdering two cab drivers following a robbery. Police said the encounter occurred during routine checking based on a tip-off. The criminal reportedly fired at the police team, who returned fire, leading to his death. Some police personnel were injured in the gunfire, but their bulletproof jackets protected them. Authorities emphasized that this action demonstrates Uttar Pradesh’s strict stance against criminals and reassures the public that police will relentlessly pursue offenders to maintain law and order.
