RSS Marks 100 Years With Grand Vijaya Dashmi Event In Nagpur, Mohan Bhagwat To Address Volunteers

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has entered its centenary year, beginning nationwide celebrations today on the occasion of Vijaya Dashmi with a grand ceremony in Nagpur. This year’s event is historic as it marks 100 years since the organization’s founding in 1925. The program is being attended by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, who will deliver a crucial address to the swayamsevaks, and former President Ramnath Kovind, who is present as the chief guest.Preparations at Nagpur are in full swing, with thousands of swayamsevaks already present on the grounds in traditional uniform. The event includes a parade, weapon worship (shastra pujan), and cultural demonstrations. Delegates from across India and abroad, including heads of NGOs and cultural organizations, have also arrived to witness the landmark occasion.Mohan Bhagwat’s speech is expected to focus on the role of swayamsevaks in building a disciplined, organized, and service-driven society, while also underlining the RSS’s contribution to cultural preservation, national integration, and global outreach.With special programs planned at branches across the country, the centenary celebrations will continue for an entire year, symbolizing the Sangh’s journey of discipline, unity, and service to Bharat Mata over the past century.
