In his statement, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das said he was deeply hurt by the alleged theft of donations, describing it as an issue connected to the faith of millions of Hindus. He emphasized that anyone found guilty should not be spared and expressed complete confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to ensure justice. Despite reports of health concerns, Mahant Nritya Gopal Das is expected to chair the Trust meeting, making his statement particularly significant ahead of discussions on the controversy. The Trust President also appealed against politicizing the issue, stating that no one should seek political gains from a matter linked to the religious sentiments of crores of devotees.
