NTA Update: Abu Dhabi Centre Error for Nagpur Student Corrected

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has corrected the examination centre allocation for a Nagpur student who was mistakenly assigned a test centre in Abu Dhabi, nearly 2,500 kilometres away. Following the error coming to light, the agency revised the allotment and reassigned the candidate to a centre in Nagpur itself. The incident had raised concerns over the robustness of the examination system, especially with around 2.2 million students set to appear for the test. Questions were being asked about how such a significant mistake occurred despite extensive preparations. NTA has now confirmed that the issue has been resolved and the candidate’s centre has been updated. Meanwhile, the agency continues its final preparations, including conducting mock drills ahead of the examination.
